Validation and Compliance
Validation is the stage in the software life cycle at the end of the development process where software and infrastructure are evaluated to ensure that they comply with the users requirement specifications (URS).
This stage is mandatory in some industries (e.g. Pharma, Biotech).
Compliance is a never ending process to keep IS in accordance with local, regional, international laws and regulations.
